ARSENAL director Josh Kroenke has insisted the club are NOT for sale and wants to push the club to Champions League glory.
The Gunners were subject of a £2.5BILLION bid from Spotify creator Daniel Ek – but Josh’s dad and owner Stan rejected the bid.
And despite the Londoners some way behind the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea, Josh is adamant the family will not be giving up on their dreams.
Speaking to MailOnline, the 41-year-old said: “The club is not for sale. We just took control of the club in 2018. As far as I’m concerned we’re just getting started.
“We received many, many other offers behind the scenes in addition to the one that was public and we only issued one statement on the whole thing and that was that the club was not for sale.
“Arsenal Football Club is a global thing and there are people paying attention all over the world and there’s people who want to get involved in this club all over the world.
“The club is not for sale. It’s going to become a home all Arsenal fans are proud of.’.”
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry revealed that Ek has not given up his quest of the club and is ‘here to stay’.

The 44-year-old was part of the Swedish billionaire’s consortium to take control of the Gunners alongside fellow Invincibles Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira.
Vieira has since gone on to become Crystal Palace manager so would be out of the equation.
Speaking to Sky Sports about the proposed takeover, Henry said: “To be able to get there, you need to have someone to respond on either side, it didn’t happen yet.
“We, he, is here to stay. Let’s see what’s going to happen.”
But if Josh Kroenke’s recent words are anything to go by, Ek’s interest will fall flat.
He added: “We need to be competing for the Premier League trophy consistently, year in, year out.
“If you’re competing for the Premier League trophy you’re competing for the Champions League trophy.”
