ARSENAL have been dealt a huge blow after it was confirmed Lucas Torreira will miss the rest of the season due to an ankle fracture.
The Gunners star was injured in the FA Cup win over Portsmouth last week and was seen hobbling round in a protective boot.
A statement on injuries on Arsenal’s website said for Torreira: “Right ankle. Sustained fracture to right ankle during Portsmouth (a) on March 2. Still receiving continual assessments. Recovery process expected to take between eight to ten weeks.”
