Arsenal come out to WWE superstar Triple H’s theme song for second half of Liverpool clash and fans LOVE it

ARSENAL ran out for the second half against Liverpool with the sound of WWE star Triple H’s theme tune blaring.

Fans loved the choice of music and it seemed to do the trick for the Gunners as they hung on to pull off a shock 2-1 win over Liverpool.

Speakers at the Emirates Stadium blasted out Motorhead’s The Game just as the Gunners stars jogged back onto the field after the interval.

Fans went wild when they noticed the tune and flooded social media with hilarious comments.

Many supporters joked that Mikel Arteta could be bringing on the legendary wrestler to bolster his side.

One said: “Anyone else hear Triple H theme tune before the second half of the Arsenal v Liverpool game.

“Was expecting him to come storming down the tunnel spitting water every where.”

Another added: “Arsenal casually subbing on triple H.”

When Arteta’s side secured the win after a second-half onslaught from Liverpool, some Gunners fans suggested the music was behind the dogged rearguard action.

One said: “Triple H theme song should be Arsenal’s home theme song our defenders should spit out water before entering the pitch.

“I swear we would be untouchable with Arteta look what spirit that song gave us. What a win.”

Perhaps the person controlling the PA system was having a pop at Liverpool, as with Arsenal leading 2-1 at the break the lyrics “I am the game, you don’t want to play me” reverberated around the empty stands.

One thing the Arsenal faithful failed to realise is that although Triple H is a Premier League fan… he supports a London rival.

The Game has already declared that he is in fact a West Ham supporter .

The song was originally written by WWE composer Jim Johnstone but was first performed by Motorhead in 2001.
