Arsenal fans say Mudryk ‘actually loves us’ after his ‘class’ post addressing laser during Chelsea defeat

ARSENAL fans have claimed Mykhailo Mudryk “loves us” after his mature reaction to a laser being shone in his face during Chelsea’s defeat at the Emirates.

Mudryk, 22, who ended up choosing the Blues over Arsenal in the January transfer window, was booed onto the pitch when he replaced Enzo Fernandez in the 71st minute on Tuesday evening.

A laser was shockingly aimed at Mykhailo Mudryk at the Emirates on Tuesday night

The laser was seen on Mudryk’s face on a number of occasions

And he was then subjected to a laser being pointed at his face on several occasions when he received the ball.

The vile act from someone inside the stadium was condemned by fans on social media as people called for a “lifetime ban”.

But Mudryk took a different approach, sharing an image of the laser on his face along with the caption: “It’s OK.”

In response, one Arsenal supporter said: “Wow he actually loves us. In another life Mudryk
?.”

And another added: “He’s still flirting with us ffs.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea fans praised him for his “class” response to the incident.

And the Blues faithful are continuing to put their trust in the Ukrainian as they wait for him to flourish at Stamford Bridge.

One fan said: “They’ll need a lot more than a laser to stop him when he gets cooking
?.”

While another replied: “Bruh is going right to the very top
?
?.”

Mudryk arrived at Chelsea for a huge £97million in the January window.

He was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal before their London rivals swooped in to steal him away.

He has contributed no goals and two assists in 14 appearances for Chelsea.

But the entire team have struggled throughout the campaign – even more so in particular in recent months.

Since interim boss Frank Lampard took over, they have lost all six games.

Chelsea sit 12th in the Premier League table with five matches remaining – starting with a trip to Bournemouth on Saturday.
