Flashback to Wilshere's brilliance

The viral video showcases Wilshere's exceptional skill, with the midfielder effortlessly gliding past opponents and displaying precise ball control.

His passing ability and awareness were also evident as he effortlessly picked out his teammates during the match.

The video concludes with Wilshere unleashing a powerful shot past the goalkeeper to score.

Arsenal fans demanding a comeback

The footage of Wilshere's outstanding performance quickly spread on Twitter, prompting an outpouring of support from Arsenal supporters who want to see him return to the pitch.

One fan tweeted, "Jack Wilshere seriously needs to get back on that pitch. He’s too good, what a baller."

Another wrote, "Would still walk into Arsenal's midfield."

A third fan commented, "Jack's still got it. He should come out of retirement and get himself some game time."

Wilshere's talent compared to Kai Havertz

Arsenal fans expressed their preference for Wilshere's skills over those of Kai Havertz, with one fan stating, "I'd rather him play in that 8 role than Havertz at this rate."

One fan simply added, "Sign him back now."

The rise and fall of Wilshere's career

Wilshere initially emerged as one of England's most promising players, making his Arsenal debut at the age of 16.

He earned widespread acclaim for his standout performance against Barcelona in the Champions League at the Nou Camp in 2011.

However, recurring injuries plagued his career, and Arsenal released him in 2018.

Wilshere subsequently had stints with West Ham, Bournemouth, and Danish club Aarhus Gymnastikforening.

Unfortunately, his injury woes persisted, leading to his retirement in 2022.

Wilshere's return to Arsenal

Currently, Wilshere is coaching Arsenal's Under 18s side, marking his return to the club in a different role.
