Arsenal outcast Aubameyang wanted by six European clubs including Barcelona and Juventus with striker set for transfer

PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG is reportedly being chased by six European clubs as Arsenal look to offload the striker this month.

The 32-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates having fallen out of favour under Mikel Arteta after being stripped of the captaincy.

Arsenal outcast Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang will be allowed to depart the Emirates in January

Aubameyang hasn’t featured for the Gunners since December 6 due to disciplinary issues.

And with the Gabon international entering the last 18 months of his contract, Arsenal are now hoping to get his £350,000-a-week wages of their books.

The former Borussia Dortmund marksmann is understood to already have a loan offer from Al Nassr on the table, with the obligation to permanently sign him for £6.7million.

And their Saudi Arabian rivals Al Hilal are also hoping to lure Aubameyang to the Middle East where they are prepared to cover his wages.

But the centre-forward is believed to not favour a move to the Gulf nation as he looks to compete in one of Europe’s top five leagues.

According to the Mirror, the 2020 FA Cup winner has no shortage of suitors that are willing to keep him in the continent.

They state that Spanish giants Barcelona and Sevilla are interested in him, along with Italian sides Juventus and AC Milan.

A move back to France could also be in the offing for the ex-Saint-Etienne ace as Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille weigh up a move.

However, the news outlet claims that none of the clubs would be prepared to cover his hefty salary.

Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Adebayor believes there is no way back for Aubameyang at the Emirates, as he declared the fans don’t know how to ‘forgive’.

Adebayor was chastised by Gunners supporters in 2009 after he opted to join Manchester City, before he wildly celebrated in front of the travelling faithful at the Etihad after scoring.

Despite Aubameyang declaring himself fit after being released early from the Africa Cup of Nations, Adebayor believes he has played his last Arsenal game.

He said: “I know he’s definitely going to go through a lot because that’s Arsenal for you. You can’t do whatever you do.

“They never learn or they never knew how to forgive. So, I know he will go through a lot.

“But he’s a strong player, he’s a good player, he’s a fantastic player. I wish him all the best. I sent him a message already because we just want him to bounce back.

“He’s our African brother and we want him to keep representing Africa the way he was doing it before the problem.”

Adebayor was then asked whether he thinks there is a way back for him, to which he replied: “At Arsenal I don’t think so.

“This is what I know because it happened to me also. Not in the same way, but a way back? At Arsenal, I would be surprised [if he had a future].

“But as I’m telling you, he’s a great player so let’s see how he ends up.”
