ARSENAL stars Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette hitched a ride with the UAE’s version of Uber.
The pair have been linked with a move away from the Gunners but they have no plans to desert just yet.
The dynamic duo were snapped sharing a camel ride having spent the last few days in the United Arab Emirates for warm-weather training.
Arsenal uploaded the picture to Instagram along with the caption: “Just two GOATs and a camel.”
Auba and Laca have struggled in front of goal since the turn of the year.
Lacazette, 28, hasn’t found the net since scoring in a 2-2 draw against Standard Liege on December 12 while Aubameyang has scored once in 2020.
But they should soon be back in the saddle and boss Mikel Arteta hopes some sun, sand and sightseeing will help.
The Gunners have been keeping fans updated of their trip on social media and they looked relaxed as they toured the desert.
Newcastle are Arsenal’s first opponents after the break on Sunday.
It is the start of a hectic schedule for the Gunners, with games coming in three competitions between now and the start of March.
Arsenal face a double header against Olympiakos in the Europa League last-32 and an FA Cup fifth-round tie at Portsmouth on March 2.
Arteta will be hoping the team bonding break will give some of his stars the opportunity to recover following a lengthy injury list.
Reiss Nelson and Kieran Tierney are two players nearing fitness.
Nelson hopes to return this weekend after a hamstring problem, while Tierney will be back in full training next month.
The Scotland international has been put through his paces in his own individual sessions and appeared to be running without any discomfort.
