Inter Milan have offered Ashley Young a new one-year contract
But the former Watford wideman is said to be in two minds about whether to stay in Italy or return to the Hornets

The former England international recently helped the Italian giants lift their first scudetto since 2010 under outgoing manager Antonio Conte.

And he has been rewarded with an offer of another year which would see his new deal expire next summer, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

But the 37-year-old is in two minds about whether to choose Watford or Inter, according to Sky Italia journalist Gianluca di Marzio.

The ex-Manchester United wideman has been in talks with the Hertfordhsire side over a one-year contract.

Young came through the youth set-up at Watford before making his first team debut in 2003.

He went on to play 110 times for the Hornets and was a part of Aidy Boothroyd’s 2005-06 Championship side which gained promotion to the Premier League.

Watford were relegated in their first campaign back in the top flight under Boothroyd, a demotion that led to Young’s departure.

He joined Aston Villa for five seasons and then moved on to Manchester United where he would remain for nine years.
