WEST HAM are off the bottom of the table after beating Aston Villa 1-0.

New striker Gianluca Scamacca made his first Premier League start of the season but David Moyes’ side struggled to break down Villa – until Fornals let fly from 25 yards.
Villa offered little in response and rarely troubled Lukasz Fabianski – though Ezri Konsa did have a goal disallowed after Lucas Digne’s corner went out of play before reaching the defender.
Steven Gerrard’s side have won just one of their opening four games and are only out of the relegation zone on goal difference – though they remain one place above the Hammers.
