, Bayern Munich chiefs fly to England amid speculation over rehiring Pep Guardiola and Leroy Sane transfer

PEP GUARDIOLA and Leroy Sane are being linked more strongly than ever with Bayern Munich – after leading officials from the managerless Germans flew into England.

Guardiola‘s agent said “nothing is certain” but insists the Manchester City boss has had no contact with his former team – despite the Sspaniard remaining a rumoured target for the Bundesliga champ.

Manager Pep Guardiola and Germany winger Leroy Sane are reportedly both targets for Bayern Munich

And Germany winger Sane, out injured since the Community Shield, has kept quiet on the latest speculation Bayern still want him.

But the Mirror say Bayern’s Head of Sports Hasan Salihamidi and chief scout Marco Neppe visited England last Wednesday.

Guardiola has 19 months of his City contract left but has commonly been mentioned for a return to the Allianz Arena since Niko Kovac’s sacking earlier this month.

‘EVERYTHING IS THE SAME’

Ex-Arsenal chief manager Arsene Wenger was thought to be contender to take over Bayern for the rest of the season.

But Wenger became Fifas new chief of global football development.

And Kovac’s assistant Hansi Flick is now Bayern’s interim boss.

Guardiolas representative Josep Maria Orobitg told Goal: In football, nothing is certain. I spoke with Pep last Wednesday, and everything is the same.

“He feels good at Manchester City and also in the city of Manchester, and he has a contract until June 30, 2021.

Nobody but the press contacted me about the future Pep.

Meanwhile, talk of ex-Schalke left-winger Sane joining Bayern has heated up since City were linked with Real Sociedad wideman Mikel Oyarzabal over the weekend.

Guardiola is reportedly willing to consider paying 68m for the Sapin ace, 22.
