Bayern Munich Star Benjamin Pavard ‘Upset’ Over Denied Premier League Transfer

French international Benjamin Pavard is reportedly disappointed after his potential move to the Premier League fell through. The Bayern Munich player was seemingly set to leave the German champions when they began pursuing Manchester City's Kyle Walker. However, the pursuit of Walker by Bayern prompted Manchester United to enquire about Pavard's availability. Despite initial interest in cashing in on the full-back, Bayern changed their mind when it became clear that Walker would not make the switch to the Allianz Arena. Pavard is said to be upset that he won't be moving to a new club.

Bayern Completes Signing of Harry Kane

In other news, Bayern Munich has been active in the transfer market, completing the blockbuster signing of Harry Kane from Tottenham. The deal, worth £104 million, sees Spurs and England's all-time leading goalscorer join the Bundesliga giants. Kane expressed his excitement at joining Bayern, praising the club's winning mentality. He also issued an emotional farewell message to Tottenham fans, thanking them for their support throughout his career.

"I’m sad to be leaving the club I've spent nearly 20 years of my life at," Kane said. "There have been so many great moments and special memories that I will cherish forever. Thank you to all the Tottenham fans for their support. I'll be watching the season and wishing the team success."

Bayern Munich's transfer activity continues to make headlines as the club strengthens its squad ahead of the new season.
