Bleary-eyed Jack Grealish heads to training after £380k-a-week Man City star returns from winter break

JACK GREALISH returned to Manchester City training looking like he could do with more rest despite enjoying a winter break.

The £100million England star, 26, arrived in a grey tracksuit with bottles in hand.

Grealish did not look in the best of moods as he made his return

He paired the outfit with Nike trainers and a white tee with small holes, despite being mocked for his ripped jeans on a recent night out.

Grealish enjoyed an evening with former Aston Villa team-mate John McGinn after Manchester City’s draw with Southampton.

That kicked off the winter break for Grealish and he did not look in the mood to return to training on Wednesday morning.

But the £380,000-a-week star will have to get back into the swing of things quickly given the demands Pep Guardiola places on his side.

The Citizens also welcome Championship leaders Fulham to the Etihad on Saturday in the FA Cup fourth round.

Marco Silva’s side have been free-scoring this season, particularly in recent games, with striker Aleksandr Mitrovic already bagging a staggering 28 goals in 26 league games.

And the club received a boost in their pursuit of Declan Rice with West Ham braced for offers after failing to strengthen their squad in January.

It is believed Rice wants to play Champions League football and that would be a guarantee if he joined City.
