But he picked up a knock during the 2-0 win and as a result was replaced by Manchester United’s recent signing Jadon Sancho.

Sancho, 21, helped England to a 4-0 thumping as Saka, 19, failed to make the bench with manager Gareth Southgate resting the winger.

Southgate revealed the Gunners starlet made himself available to play against Ukraine and will be in contention for the Denmark clash.

He said: “He should be fine.

“He did declare himself available for the (Ukraine) game but we had not really had the chance to see him on the pitch and working at the level we felt would vindicate that decision.

“He will go back into full training with the group on Tuesday and, yes, he should be fine.”

Saka, who posed in England’s swimming pool with an inflatable unicorn, starred in the last group stage match against Czech Republic.

It earned him a spot in Southgate’s front three against Germany, where they deployed a 3-4-3 formation.

But he reverted back to a back four and three-man midfield in Rome to play Ukraine, with Sancho and Raheem Sterling, 26, out wide.

Sterling is England’s joint top scorer with Harry Kane, 27, on three goals and set up his captain to open the scoring in the quarter-finals.

It leaves Sancho likely to be contesting with Saka for a place on the right side and United legend Gary Neville tipped the Arsenal forward to get the nod.

Asked what team should play Denmark, Neville tweeted: “Same team but Saka back in.”
