BURNLEY have tied up a deal worth an initial £12million for Wolfsburg striker Wout Weghorst.
The German club would receive another payment – reported to be around £1.7 million – should the Clarets survive.
At 6ft 6in the Dutch forward looks an ideal replacement for Chris Wood – who joined Newcastle earlier this month for £25million.
Weghorst, 29, was at the Lancashire club’s Gawthorpe training ground on Sunday.
He has wanted a move to the Prem for some time and now he will finally get his chance.
The striker scored 70 goals and provided 22 assists in 144 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit.
Burnley announced the gigantic striker with a clip from Jurassic Park.
Having missed out on Croatia international Mislav Orsic on Saturday, reports there have also linked the Clarets with Gorica prolific forward Kristijan Lovric.

Liverpool forward Divock Origi is also being tracked by the Clarets.
The Belgium international, 26, who has had limited opportunities at Anfield this season, is out of contract in the summer.
Whether any deal would be a loan or a permanent transfer is yet to be seen.
Burnley could still revive their interest in Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey – but have had little encouragement from the Wales international.
