Burnley Star Charlie Taylor Declared Bankrupt Due to Administrative Error

Unpaid Bills Lead to Bankruptcy Declaration

Burnley star Charlie Taylor has been declared bankrupt following an administrative error, according to reports. The footballer, 30, is thought to be paid in the region of £30,000 a week by the Premier League club.

No Serious Financial Issues

Taylor was allegedly declared bankrupt due to unpaid bills. According to the Mail, his missed payments were due to an "administrative error" and not deliberate attempts to shirk paying up. The former Leeds ace, who declined to comment on the matter, is not thought to be suffering from serious financial issues. And he has since settled his debts.

Annulment on the Horizon

The High Court is claimed to be close to granting an annulment on Taylor's bankruptcy. This would erase his bankruptcy status and allow him to move forward financially.

Regular Playing Time for Burnley

Taylor has been a regular for Burnley this season, starting 16 of Vincent Kompany's side's 20 Premier League matches. He has been a key contributor to the team's success.

Leeds Attempted to Re-Sign Taylor

At the end of the title-winning campaign, Leeds attempted to re-sign their homegrown ace. However, Taylor opted to stay at Turf Moor and has reaped the benefits by playing regularly in the top flight.

Overall, while the bankruptcy declaration may have caused a temporary setback, Taylor's financial issues seem to have been resolved. He can now focus on his football career and continue to contribute to Burnley's success.
