Cardboard cut out of Tiger King star Joe Exotic spotted at Leeds’ Elland Road in stands for Fulham clash

TIGER KING chief and Carole Baskin’s No1 rival Joe Exotic has been spotted at Elland Road watching Leeds’ promotion charge.

Fans have been given the opportunity to pay £25 to have a cardboard cut out of themselves while matches are being played behind-closed-doors.

And one supporter spotted the opportunity to involve the imprisoned Netflix star for their crucial weekend victory over Fulham.

Exotic became an overnight celebrity in lockdown as millions tuned in for the hit-documentary based on the controversial life of the zookeeper.

Eagle-eyed fans watching the 3-0 victory flocked to social media when they spotted his distinct face among the army of cardboard cut outs.

One joked: “Joe Exotic is a Leeds fan, is a Leeds fan.”

Another added: “I still can’t find myself but I’ve found Joe Exotic.”

Leeds chiefs will be a lot happier to entertain Exotic over Osama Bin Laden who they were forced to remove last week.

One fan’s attempt to feature in infamous terrorist slipped through the net when club chiefs included him in the stands which was met by criticism on social media.

Comedian David Baddiel lashed out at Leeds after allowing the sick submission to slip through the cracks.

One fan paid for a picture of Osama Bin Laden to be placed on a cardboard cut-out for the game against Fulham

Baddiel tweeted: “What’s amazing about this is that someone at Leeds is educated enough to realise that even a fake crowd should not be entirely white, but not educated enough to know who Osama Bin Laden is.”

Leeds’ victory over Fulham meant they took a significant step to playing Premier League football next season.

They sit eight points clear in the automatic promotion places with just seven games left to play.
