Celtic’s New Signing Nathaniel Phillips is Dating the Daughter of Oasis Legend Liam Gallagher

Liverpool Youth Set-Up to Celtic

Nathaniel Phillips, the 26-year-old centre-back, has made a move from Liverpool to Celtic. Coming through Liverpool's youth set-up, Phillips broke into Jurgen Klopp's squad during the 2019/20 season but has struggled to find regular game time with just 29 appearances over four seasons. He has also had loan spells at Stuttgart and Bournemouth.

Playing for the Rivals

Despite his father, Jimmy, being a former player for Rangers, Phillips will now be turning out for Celtic. Jimmy Phillips, aged 57, played at Ibrox between 1987 and 1988. However, Brendan Rodgers has brought in the Bolton-born man for Celtic.

Molly Moorish Gallagher

Off the pitch, Phillips is dating Molly Moorish Gallagher, daughter of former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher. Molly's mother, Lisa Moorish, was the lead singer of the band Kill City. The pair went public with their relationship in 2022, and Molly hilariously showed her support for Phillips when he helped Bournemouth clinch promotion to the Premier League.

Aiming for the League Title

Now at Celtic, Phillips will be hoping to secure his first league winner's medal. Celtic has won 11 of the last 12 Scottish Premiership titles. When confirming his move to the Scottish champions, Phillips expressed his excitement and mentioned the club's history, aspirations, and mentality of always wanting to win.

Phillips told Celtic TV, "I'm really excited. When I heard about the interest it was one that got me excited. There were a few other options that didn't quite make me feel the same as this one did, so I was really keen to get it over the line and I'm delighted to be here now. It's the history of the club. It's such a huge club, the club's aspirations, the level it competes at, the fact that they're in the Champions League this year, and the mentality of the club – they want to be winners in everything they do."
