Champions League all-time table revealed ahead of knockout stage… with just TWO Premier League sides making top ten

The results are based on since the competition was created in 1955, not just since it was repackaged in 1992.

Real Madrid lead the way with 892 points, based on three points for every win, after winning the European title a total of 13 times.

United have amassed 523 points following three triumphs on the continent’s biggest stage.

Liverpool, on the other hand, have registered 119 points less than the Red Devils, even though they won the trophy six times.

That is because the Manchester giants have played 66 more matches than the Merseysiders, having been far more active during the Champions League era of group games.

Bayern Munich are second, while Barcelona and Juventus complete the top five.

AC Milan just rank above Liverpool, with 18 points more than the Premier League giants.

Porto are eighth, while Benfica and Ajax complete the competition’s all-time top 10.

United and Liverpool are still in the Champions League knockouts and could improve their standing.

They face Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan respectively.
