Chelsea boss Frank Lampard and masked wife Christine pop out with baby as Blues manager counts down to Prem return

FRANK LAMPARD and wife Christine made the most of April sunshine as they popped out for some fresh air.

The Chelsea boss was pictured with the presenter, who was taking extra precautions by wearing a mask amid the coronavirus crisis.

They were snapped getting out of their car as Frank carried the bags while Christine held little Patricia.

Lamps was decked out head to toe in Nike, who make the Blues’ kit, as they presumably went for their daily piece of exercise during the lockdown.

And he may well have bagged a pair of trainers for his wife as Christine rocked the black creps to do with her khaki jacket and leggings.

Soon after the Premier League was suspended, Lampard took their dog Minnie out for a walk in Kensington Gardens.

His TV star wife, who he married in December 2015, spoke about having the Stamford Bridge boss around the house a lot more amid the ongoing health crisis.

Speaking as she hosted Loose Women in March, Christine explained their 18-month daughter Patricia was loving having her daddy home.

She said: “Frank’s been at home and he never is, he’s always away and I have never seen our little girl or dog happier.

“It’s just us, it’s literally just us in the house 24 hours a day and it’s just felt strangely quite nice.”

Last week, the happy family stopped for a chat with mounted police.

The pair, both 41, appeared in high spirits as they talked with cops on horseback – checking locals were observing social distancing rules – while enjoying their daily dose of fresh air.

Grinning Lampard clutched a coffee as he sported a casual look, again in all Nike.

But even with Lampard not taking charge of matches or training at the moment, he will certainly have one eye on the transfer market and who he could bring in to bolster his Chelsea side when it reopens.

Strikers Moussa Dembele, Timo Werner and even Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have been linked with moves to West London.

Elsewhere, Chelsea have reportedly been given a clear path to try and sign Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona after Liverpool opted against resigning their former star.

Finally, the Blues could be ready to make a raid on French side Lille with both Victor Osimhen and Gabriel Magalhaes targets.
