CHELSEA are set to miss out on summer transfer target Benjamin Pavard as he has decided to stay at Bayern Munich, reports suggest.
The Blues have been keeping tabs on Pavard, 26, as they are likely to lose starting right-back and captain Cesar Azpilicueta in the summer transfer window.

According to L’Equipe journalist Loic Tanzi, however, the France international has decided to stay put at Bayern, where he has a contract until 2024.
This marks yet another target the West Londoners look set to miss out on.
Chelsea have been struggling to get the ball rolling in the transfer market ever since Todd Boehly’s consortium took over from Roman Abramovich.
The Premier League giants signed Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly from Manchester City and Napoli respectively.
However, the Blues have also missed out on some major targets, such as Raphinha and Jules Kounde who opted for Barcelona.
The West Londoners kept tabs on Ousmane Dembele who also preferred to renew with cash-strapped Barca.
Chelsea were also in the running for star striker Erling Haaland before City won the bidding war.
Manager Thomas Tuchel has been vocal about the need for reinforcement, especially in defence.
Tuchel has already lost Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, who left as free agents.
The German tactician is now at risk of being deprived of full-backs Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso as well.
