CHELSEA fans are impressed with Luis Enrique’s English after a clip of the Spaniard circulated online.
The former Barcelona boss is in the running to take over as Blues manager following the sacking of Graham Potter.
Fans are delighted to discover Luis Enrique speaks perfect English
He arrived in London yesterday for talks with the club after being approached this week.
And fans have just discovered that the 52-year-old speaks perfect English.
A clip from Euro 2020 was posted on social media of Enrique sharing his thoughts after his Spain side were beaten in the semi-final by Italy.
And despite spending almost his entire managerial and playing career in Spain, Enrique spoke fluent English.
That could play a big role in helping Enrique get the Chelsea jobs, and he appears to have won over fans.
One reacted saying: “Bring him in.”
Another added: “Better than Conte’s.”
A third said: “That’s fluent English, Lucho. Visa granted
”
Another decisive factor in whether Enrique gets the job is if he is willing to take charge straight away.
Todd Boehly is believed to be keen on an immediate takeover with former Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann also on his radar.
The German is also set for talks with the club but could ask to wait until the summer to join.
