The signing rivalry between Chelsea and Liverpool escalates

In the ongoing battle between Chelsea and Liverpool for new signings, Chelsea fans have found another way to taunt their rivals. After beating Liverpool to the signings of Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo, Chelsea fans have cleverly nicknamed their new midfield trio as "LFC" to rub it in the faces of the Reds.

Chelsea continues their spending spree

With the acquisitions of Lavia and Caicedo, Chelsea's spending in this transfer window has reached an eye-popping £349.9m, making them the biggest spenders in the league. The Blues were also close to adding Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise to their roster, but he surprised everyone by choosing to extend his contract with the London club.

Liverpool turns to Wataru Endo

Having missed out on their primary targets, Caicedo and Lavia, Liverpool has swiftly shifted their focus to Stuttgart midfielder Wataru Endo. The Reds are keen to strengthen their defensive midfield position after losing both Jordan Henderson and Fabinho to Saudi clubs earlier this summer. A deal for Endo is reportedly close, with Liverpool agreeing on a £15.5m fee.

It seems the rivalry between these two Premier League giants is only intensifying as they compete for top talents. Only time will tell who will have the last laugh.
