Chelsea hold transfer talks with agent of Brazilian wonderkid Endrick, 16, in bid to beat Man Utd to Palmeiras sensation

CHELSEA are reportedly started talks to sign Brazilian wonderkid Endrick.

The 16-year old has yet to play for Palmeiras’ senior squad.

Chelsea have opened talks with Brazilian teen star Endrick over a move

But the forward has put in consistently-high performances for the youth sides, scoring a whopping 165 goals in 169 games.

That has already attracted interest from the Premier League with Manchester United keeping tabs, while Liverpool and Manchester City are also keen.

The Brazil Under-16 international has also been linked with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

He has now penned his first pro contract with Palmeiras following his birthday earlier this month.

However, according to journalist Jorge Nicola, Chelsea began talks over a transfer the very next day.

He states that the Blues held a meeting with Endrick’s agent Frederico Pena and with his parents last Friday in Sao Paulo.

They allegedly “signalled” their intention to sign him, and are willing to pay “€30m plus €10m in performance bonuses” to get him.

This report states that Endrick has a €40m release clause in his contract and that Palmeiras president Leila Pereira is desperate to get as close to that figure as possible for the teen.

But even if Chelsea do fork out to get him this summer, they will still have to wait until 2024 to see him in action for them.

Brazilian footballers are not legally allowed to play abroad until they turn 18.

The Samba star was thought to be open to all offers after touring Europe earlier this year to look at potential clubs.

Now it seems that the ace could be heading to West London.
