Chelsea could try and sign 15-year-old Monaco star Malamine Efekele this summer

Mbappe also started his career with Monaco which has drawn comparisons between the pair.

Efekele is a winger, can play on either side and has been described as “lively” and “very promising”.

And the West Londoners could carry on their summer spending spree and move to land the youngster at the end of the season, according to French outlet L’Equipe.

Efekele was previously coached by Mbappe’s father Wilfrid at AS Bondy.

And because he turns 16 on July 19, Chelsea could be pressed into acting this summer as Brexit may stop English clubs from recruiting foreign minors after January 1, 2021.

The Blues have already landed Timo Werner from RB Leipzig in a £53million deal.

The German will join Ajax star Hakim Ziyech as new arrivals at Stamford Bridge this summer.

And Chelsea are hopeful Werner and Antonio Rudiger can convince their Germany teammate Kai Havertz to join them in West London from Bayer Leverkusen.

This comes after another German Blue Andre Schurrle had his transfer fee cut from £27million to just £2m after disappointing at Borussia Dortmund.
