Chelsea leading chase for 17-year-old Aldershot sensation Reece Wylie after starring in non-league

CHELSEA are reportedly leading the chase for 17-year-old Aldershot sensation Reece Wylie.

TEAMtalk claim the Blues are one of a number of Premier League and Championship clubs who have made approaches to the non-league side for the talented midfielder.

Chelsea are in pole position to swoop for non-league starlet Reece Wylie

The report adds that the Stamford Bridge side are in pole position to land Wylie in a deal that could net Aldershot a six-figure windfall.

The teenager, who has come through the ranks at the National League outfit, has been earning rave reviews for their Under-19s side.

Wylie caught the eye with the Shots’ youth side and even earned a callup to the England U18’s School Boys squad back in December.

Chelsea have become a breeding ground for emerging talent this season, with academy graduate Armando Broja the latest youngster to feature for the first-team in the 4-0 win over Everton.

Lampard has received much praise for providing greater opportunities to academy stars amid the FIFA transfer ban enacted last summer.

Scottish midfielder Billy Gilmour was the latest breakout star as he performed well against Liverpool in Tuesday’s FA Cup win.

And the 18-year-old followed that up with another man of the match performance in the rout against the Toffees on Sunday.

And Chelsea could push for even more young talent at the end of the season with Gent striker Jonathan David, 20, also linked with a move to England.

SunSport also revealed the Blues are also in talks to sign Germany sensation Armel Bella-Kotchap.

The 18-year-old defender has lit up Bundesliga 2 since signing his first senior contract with VfL Bochum in March last year.
