DIEGO COSTA is available on a free transfer after having his contract terminated at Atletico Mineiro.
The former Chelsea favourite joined the Brazilian side midway through their title-winning campaign last term.
He netted four goals in 15 outings as his side got over the line.
But he is now set to be on the move again.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote on Twitter: “Diego Costa has reached an agreement with Atletico Mineiro to terminate his contract and part ways with immediate effect. #transfers
“Former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid striker’s gonna be now available on a free transfer. #Galo”
Costa, 33, is not short of interest and a return to Spain could be on the cards.
According to Tribal Football, LaLiga duo Cadiz and Elche are both ‘in contact’ with the former Prem star.

While second-tier Eibar also want the two-time Premier League winner.
They could partner him with former Tottenham striker Fernando Llorente, 36.
Costa recently had fans in hysterics when he gleefully drove around the streets of Brazil in a tractor.
He had plenty to celebrate in his brief spell back in his homeland.
In addition to winning the league title, he also grabbed a Copa do Brasil winners’ medal alongside Brazil star Hulk.
