PAULO FERREIRA has quit Chelsea just days after Roman Abramovich put the club up for sale.
The Russian billionaire announced he is selling up amid increased scrutiny over his country’s invasion of Ukraine.

The former defender was a technical coach with the Blues
A Swiss-American consortium is said to be confident of agreeing a deal over the coming days to take over.
Now football.london reports that Ferreira has quit his job as a technical coach at Chelsea.
The former defender, 43, is believed to be heading back to his native Portugal in order to be closer to his family.
Ferreira is also a club ambassador and has worked with the Blues’ loan players since hanging up his boots in 2013 after initially joining them in 2004.
He has also been studying for his coaching badges.
His departure will end an 18 year association with the club.
Ferreira’s exit is not believed to be connected to Abramovich’s.
The star moved to Stamford Bridge from Porto and made over 200 appearances for the club.
He won 11 major honours, including the Premier League title three times plus the Europa League and Champions League.
Claude Makelele, Carlo Cudicini and Tore Andre Flo are all remaining part of the backroom set-up at Chelsea.
