This remains a club record for the most Champions League goals scored by a Chelsea player in a single season.

That season included one of Flo’s career highlights, scoring twice against Barcelona at Stamford Bridge.

He then scored an early goal at the Nou Camp in the second leg, which nearly sent the Blues into the semi-finals.

Flo went on to join Rangers and also had spells at Sunderland, Leeds and MK Dons.

After retiring from playing in 2012. Flo returned to Chelsea as a club ambassador and a coach in the Academy, as well as a recent role in loan development.

Chelsea have hit rocky form recently, despite a great start to the season.

The Blues have fallen away in the Premier League title race and currently sit 11 points adrift of table toppers Manchester City.

Star striker, Romelu Lukaku has rocked the boat this week by claiming that he is unhappy at the club and never wanted to leave Inter Milan.
