Chelsea shirt sponsors Three considering pulling out of club as they release statement after Abramovich is sanctioned

CHELSEA’S shirt sponsors Three are ‘reviewing’ their commercial partnership with the club after owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned.

Abramovich had his assets frozen by the UK government due to his close ties to Russian president Vladimir Putin.

Three could pull their £40m-a-year Sponsorship

The Blues have been blocked from selling home and away match tickets.

Merchandise sales have also been halted as a result of the sanctions.

And now the club could lose their £40million-a-year sponsorship deal with telecommunications company Three.

Three confirmed they are ‘reviewing the situation and are in discussions with Chelsea FC.’
