Chelsea star Mason Mount heads to new boss Todd Boehly’s LA Dodgers as he takes summer holiday break to US

MASON MOUNT paid a visit to his boss Todd Boehly’s LA Dodgers baseball team while enjoying a summer break stateside.

The Chelsea and England ace grinned as he posed for snaps at Dodger Stadium in central Los Angeles.

MLB outfit the Dodgers are co-owned by businessman Boehly, who fronted the consortium that recently bought the Blues.

Mount spent the day checking out the home of the seven-time World Series champions, who posted the shots to Instagram.

The 23-year-old wore a Dodgers shirt with the No19 – the same number he wears for Chelsea.

He also stepped out onto the turf at Dodger Stadium, checked out the dressing room and held the Commissioner’s Trophy, which is awarded to the team that wins the World Series.

The Dodgers won the World Series as recently as 2020, and Boehly will be hoping to bring some of that success to Stamford Bridge.

Boehly himself is set to take over control of transfers at Chelsea after it was confirmed Marina Granovskaia would be leaving her role at the end of the month with a £20million bonus.

The Blues are yet to confirm any new team-mates for Mount, but have been linked with the likes of Raheem Sterling, Jules Kounde and Matthijs de Ligt.

Mount meanwhile is enjoying some well-earned time off after a gruelling campaign for club and country.

The playmaker turned out in a whopping 56 games across six competitions for Chelsea during the recent season.

He is currently out in LA alongside Trevoh Chalobah and West Ham star Declan Rice.

Mount was also seen playing basketball with Man Utd winger Jadon Sancho and former Blues pair Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori.
