MAURIZIO SARRI is reportedly eyeing a reunion with NGolo Kante at Juventus.
Calcio Mercato claims the Chelsea star is an ambitious target for his ex-manager, who left Stamford Bridge for Turin last summer.
Sarri converted defensive midfielder Kante, 28, into a complete all-rounder during his single season in England.
And its now said that he wants to bring the French World Cup winner to Serie A.
However, its added that Juventus chiefs have not opened talks with Chelsea as they feel the Blues have no intention of selling.
The report claims that Kante is valued at 86million, and Juve are in no position to spending that kind of money despite trying to offload midfielders Adrien Rabiot and Emre Can.
That could open the door for Real Madrid to make a move, though.
Zinedine Zidane is a big fan of his compatriot, and is reportedly ready to pay 86m PLUS James Rodriguez.
But Frank Lampard will surely want to keep Kante at Stamford Bridge despite his injury woes.
Kante has featured just six times this season after suffering numerous setbacks.
And Lampard had harsh words for France boss Didier Deschamps when he decided not to return Kante to Stamford Bridge after the midfielder picked up another injury on international duty.
