Chelsea star N’Golo Kante wanted in PSG transfer this summer with 30-year-old midfielder having another stellar season

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are reportedly keen on a summer transfer for N’Golo Kante.

The Chelsea man has been in stunning form again for the Blues this campaign after helping them win the Champions League last summer.

PSG could reportedly make a move for Kante this summer

Kante’s contract expires at the end of next season, with PSG ‘chalking off the years’ from his deal, according to The Telegraph.

And were Kante not to pen an extension at Stamford Bridge, the club may be forced into a sale this summer to receive maximum profit.

There are just two transfer windows left to play out before the Frenchman can leave for free.

Kante turns 31 next month, with Chelsea usually enforcing a policy of not offering players over 30-years-old longer than a one-year deal.

The midfielder is said to earn around £300,000-a-week and it remains to be seen whether the Blues offer a player over 30 a long-term, big money contract.

The Telegraph go on to suggest that it is entirely possible Kante will see out his remaining year-and-a-half before assessing his options at the end of next season.

Although Chelsea may prefer to cash in sooner rather than later, which would mean listening to any potential bids come the end of the season.

And PSG could be primed to finally make a move for their long-term target.

Kante will have the chance to add the final part of the jigsaw to his trophy cabinet in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final against Liverpool.

He has already won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, Europa League, Uefa Super Cup AND Club World Cup with the Blues.

International glory also came in 2018 when Kante won the World Cup with France.

Kante has racked up 243 appearances for Chelsea since joining for a bargain £30million from Leicester in 2016.
