Chelsea are adamant the ace is part of their first-team plans and they will not allow him to leave.

But the Mirror claims Moyes believes the prospect of more regular game time could persuade Barkley to mush for a move that would aid his England hopes.

The former Toffees ace is up against the likes of Jordan Henderson, James Maddison, Mount, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Harry Winks, Declan Rice, Fabian Delph and Jack Grealish for a spot in Gareth Southagte’s midfield.

Barkley’s injury troubles have followed him to Stamford Bridge and limited him to seven Premier League appearances this season.

But he enjoyed a goalscoring return to the side for the FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest and also played the full 90 minutes against Burnley last weekend.

And the Three Lions hopeful vowed to get back in Frank Lampard’s good books after being photographed in unsavoury situations this season.

Barkleywas pictured being escorted to a cash machine by police in order to pay an irate taxi driver in his hometown ofLiverpoolin September the night before he was due to train with the team.

He was also filmed dancing topless in a Dubai nightclub in November but Chelsea were less bothered because he was on club-approved holiday during an international break.

Barkley managed two goals and an assist on his last England cap – a 6-0 rout of Bulgaria.

Moyes is keen to bring in a midfielder and AC Milan ace Frank Kessie, 23, is another option.

And the Scot has brought Darren Randolph back to the club in a 4million deal to replace hapless Roberto.
