Chelseas six-man January transfer shortlist revealed including Timo Werner, Moussa Dembele and Jadon Sancho

CHELSEA have added wingers Leon Bailey and Samuel Chukwueze to the list of forwards the club are set to target in the January transfer window, according to reports.

Frank Lampard has been given the funds to start a 150million spree on new players after FIFA lifted the Blues ban on signing new players.

Chelsea are preparing to start spending Chelsea’s 150m transfer budget

The former Derby County boss has already confirmed that he is hoping to recruit attacking reinforcements next month and finally replace Eden Hazard following a difficult run of form.

Now Chelsea scouts have been tasked with compiling a list of stars who could inject fresh impetus into their campaign, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Jadon Sancho remains the most high-profile name on the Blues radar, but Borussia Dortmund are unlikely to let him leave until the summer.

Wilfried Zaha may finally be allowed to leave Crystal Palace however following failed moves to Arsenal and Everton this summer.

Chelsea are also keeping tabs on strikers Timo Werner and Moussa Dembele but their clubs participation in the Champions League last-16 would make a January switch to Stamford Bridge difficult.

German star Werner will arrive in England regardless, with RB Leipzig set to face Spurs, while Dembele’s Lyon have been drawn against Juventus.

Latest reports now claim Chelsea are looking at Bayer Leverkusens Bailey and Villareals Chukwueze, with the former tracked by the Blues for years.

However, Nigerian Chukwueze is two years than his Jamaican counterpart and has already revealed he is a Chelsea fan because of John Obi Mikel.

He said: I was supporting Chelsea. I used to support every team that featured a Nigerian. So my love for Chelsea then was because of Mikel.

Maybe in the future, a movement is possible but right now my attention is on Villarreal. I want to focus well on my club and gain more confidence. Maybe when the time is ripe, I can move.

Chelsea take on Werner’s Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich in the last-16 and the Telegraph claim Lampard wants to reinforce his squad before that tie.
