Confusion over Lewis Hall transfer as fans spot key difference in Newcastle and Chelsea’s statement

The Conflicting Details

The recent transfer of Lewis Hall from Chelsea to Newcastle has left fans puzzled due to conflicting information provided by the two clubs. While Newcastle announced that Hall's move is a season-long loan with an obligation for the Magpies to make it permanent for £28 million, Chelsea stated that Newcastle only has an option to make the loan permanent.

Baffled Fans

The conflicting statements have left fans baffled, with many believing that the loan does include an obligation to buy. One fan expressed their confusion by saying, "Option to buy???" Another fan added, "You forgot to add with obligation to buy?". A third fan shared their preference for a loan without the obligation, stating, "I wish it was just a loan and not with an obligation to buy, he’s better than Chilwell." It seems the inconsistency in the statements has left supporters scratching their heads.

Hall's Delight and Excitement

Lewis Hall is thrilled about his move to St. James' Park and is excited about the opportunity to play in the Champions League. He expressed his pride, saying, "I’m very proud. Me and my family are Newcastle fans, and for me and my brother growing up, it was drilled into us that we were Newcastle. It’s a big club and I can’t wait to get started."

Hall also reflected on his progress as a player and person, stating, "I got a lot of experience last year in some big fixtures and I was really proud of the way I progressed as a player and a person. To now be here at Newcastle, the club that I’ve supported since I was a kid, I’m honored and very proud to wear this shirt."

Hall expressed his excitement about the team's performance last season and the addition of Champions League football, saying, "When you look back on last season and the way the team performed – not just the results, but the performances the team were putting in – it was amazing. There’s so many talented players and we’ve got the Champions League now as well so there’s many different competitions that I know the team will be wanting to do well in, and hopefully get a trophy or two as well."
