BRUNO FERNANDES and Nemanja Matic poked fun at Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo after coming out on top in a training game.
The Red Devils recently returned to Carrington after they were forced to stay away due to positive coronavirus cases.
And they appear to be in high spirits as Matic took to Instagram on Thursday to gloat about a victory in training.
The Serbian midfielder took it upon himself to call out Ronaldo as he posed with the rest of his winning teammates.
Matic said: “Winning team! @cristiano are you ok?,” alongside a laughing emoji.
Ronaldo’s Man Utd and Portuguese teammate Fernandes then joined in with the gentle ribbing by replying to Matic’s post.
He simply added Ronaldo’s famous celebration: “SIUUUUUUUUU.”
Man Utd have not played since they beat Norwich 1-0 at Carrow Road on December 11.
Their most recent fixtures against Brentford and Brighton were called off due to a Covid outbreak within the Man Utd squad.
But they will be hoping to return to action on Monday when they take on Newcastle at St James’ Park.
Since arriving at Old Trafford, new manager Ralf Rangnick has had an instant impact on the team.
The Red Devils have won two and drawn one of his three games in charge, something they will look to build on in the coming weeks.
And as the club recover from a critical Covid situation, Rangnick now has a healthy squad to choose from.

He said: “As you know, last week we had our last training session on Thursday with just eight players and three goalkeepers.
“Then we closed for four days to break the chain. We returned on Tuesday and today [Thursday] is the third day of training.
“We have 25 players – apart from Paul Pogba, everyone else is on board. So the development in last week was extremely positive.”
