Cristiano Ronaldo’s new celebration after axing ‘Siuuu’ already being copied after Man Utd star’s goal at Everton

CRISTIANO RONALDO surprisingly ditched his iconic ‘Siuuu’ celebration after scoring his 700th club goal against Everton.

And the new move he showed off following his first Premier League strike of the season is ALREADY being copied.

His move has already been copied by a Benfica youth player

Instead of his trademark ‘Siuuu’ celebration, Ronaldo stood with his head back, eyes closed, and fingers crossed in front of his chest.

Ronaldo only debuted the new move on Sunday night, but it is already being replicated in other matches.

Benfica youngster Diego Moreira copied the “inner peace” manoeuvre after scoring against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old winger closed his eyes and crossed his fingers in front of his chest Ronaldo-style after finding the back of the net.

Fans have been quick to praise the influence Ronaldo has in football after youngster Moreira copied his move.

One wrote on Twitter: “My God Ronaldo already got players doing his celebration.”

Another said: “Most influential player ever.”

And a third simply added: “The Goat effect.”

Ronaldo’s decision to axe his iconic celebration came as a shock after he performed it when scoring against Sheriff last month.

That Europa League strike was his only goal of the season before the winner in the 2-1 victory over Everton.

CR7 came off the bench early to net at Goodison after an injury to Anthony Martial.
