Daniel Sturridge opens door to free Inter Miami transfer as ‘he wants to start US record label when he retires’

DANIEL STURRIDGE reportedly wants to start a record label in the US when he retires – fuelling speculation that he could join Inter Miami.

David Beckham’s new Major League Soccer side have been linked to the former Liverpool star.

Daniel Sturridge had his Trabzonspor deal terminated just seven months after joining

The 30-year-old has been a free agent since his contract with Turkish club Trabzonspor was terminated.

According to L’Equipe, he has now set his sights on a move to the MLS or France’s Ligue 1.

The former Manchester City forward is believed to follow both of the leagues closely.

Sturridge is open to a permanent move to America as he wants to set up his own record label there when he hangs up his boots.

And a switch to France’s top-flight appeals to him as he regularly enjoys holidays in Cannes.

The report states that Italian club Benevento have approached the ex-Manchester City.

But Sturridge has not been tempted by a switch to Serie B amid interest from Inter Miami.

It was reported in May that he was plotting a return to football with Beckham’s side.

The striker, 30, was banned from all football-related activities in March after he was found guilty of two breaches over transfer information given to family members.

But his ban ended in June and he is now keeping fit in the United States until the right club make their move.
