Arsenal stars were also seen arriving to work as they look to get back to business.
It comes after Premier League clubs voted to approve a formal return to the training ground.
The agreement to move to “Stage One” of the training protocols will see all 20 top flight squads beginning basic work from today.
And Spaniard De Gea was among those showing off his new lockdown look as he pulled into training with a long beard.
Team-mate Lee Grant was also snapped coming into their Carrington training base for the first time because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side had recently teamed up for a group session at a field in Cheshire, with Paul Pogba involved.
Arsenal became the first Premier League side to return to training at the end of April, as players worked on different pitches and had their own footballs to avoid any threat of cross-contamination.
But Gunners boss Mikel Arteta, was joined by David Luiz and Hetor Bellerin as they arrived for training in a larger number with players returning back to England.
Under the new measures individual training is allowed while groups of no more than five players are permitted per pitch, with training times staggered.
The green light came as part of the latest video meeting of the 20 “shareholder” clubs, which lasted around two and a half hours.
Clubs discussed a number of other issues, including their desire to play all the remaining 92 games this season in home stadiums rather than at neutral venues.
The Premier League’s plan to resume by June 20, with matches played behind closed doors, like Germany’s Bundesliga did for the first time last weekend.
