MIKEL ARTETA insisted that it’s going to busy week for Arsenal in terms of incomings and outgoings following the 3-1 defeat against Liverpool.

The Gunners know they have to offload a number of players if they want to bring in Lyon’s Houssem Aouar and Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has stated that the Gunners will be busy in the final week of the transfer window

Speaking after the club’s first defeat of the season, Arteta revealed that he believes it’s going to be a frantic end to the transfer window.

He said: “We don’t have any news on new players and either with players that might leave the football club.

“It’s a week to go, I think it’s going to be really busy for other clubs because not much business has been done. Let’s see what happens.”

Before adding: “I think it will be busy for the Premier League.

“Busy for us, I don’t know how it is going to happen.”

Arsenal have been set a Friday deadline by Lyon if they want to prise Aouar away from France.

And with funds said to be limited, the North Londoners know they have no time to waste in trying to sell the fringe players in their squad.

Here SunSport looks at 11 players that could be on their way out of the Emirates before the window slams shut on Monday.

Arsenal duo Mesut Ozil and Matteo Guendouzi face an uncertain future at the Emirates

MESUT OZIL

The German playmaker – who has just one year left on his Arsenal deal – hasn’t featured for the club since March as he continues to be frozen out.

Clubs in Saudi Arabia and Qatar have been linked with a move for Ozil, but it looks likely he will leave for free next summer.

MATTEO GUENDOUZI

Like Ozil, the Frenchman continues to be overlooked by Arteta following his antics away at Brighton in June.

Paris Saint-Germain have ruled out a move for the 21-year-old, while Valencia are said to be keen to bring him to Spain on loan.

Villarreal were also said to be interested in him last month, with Unai Emery a fan of his former star.

SOKRATIS

The Greek defender is not in the plans of Arteta, and with the ex-Borussia Dortmund ace also in the final year of his contract, Arsenal are keen to get rid of him.

A move to Napoli now looks unlikely with Kalidou Koulibaly set to remain with the Serie A side.

It has been said the 32-year-old has suitors from the Premier League, Italy, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Defenders Sokratis and Shkodran Mustafi could depart North London in the coming week

SHKODRAN MUSTAFI

The German is believed to be closing in on a move to link up with Lazio in a deal that could be worth £13million.

According to Lazio Press, Mustafi’s agent and father have held talks with the Eagles, with only the final details of the deal needed to be finalised.

SEAD KOLASINAC

Having lost his place in the side to Kieran Tierney, the ex-Schalke man could make a move back to Germany.

Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly interested in securing his services, with Arsenal willing to sell him for around £9m.

LUCAS TORREIRA

With Atletico not keen on a swap deal between Partey and Torreira, the Spanish side are seeking a loan deal for the Uruguay international.

Torina have also been linked with a £22m deal for the 24-year-old, who face competition from Fiorentina in the race to sign him.

CALUM CHAMBERS

Fulham are said to be keen on bringing Chambers back to Craven Cottage for £12m.

And fellow newly-promoted side Leeds are also understood to be monitoring his situation at the Emirates.

ROB HOLDING

Holding has featured in all five games this season as Arteta looks to ease William Saliba into the first team.

West Ham are known to be admirers of the former Bolton man, but it remains to be seen whether he will depart this window.

MOHAMED ELNENY

The Egyptian international is claimed to have offers from Turkish giants Galatasaray and Trabzonspor.

But he could remain at Arsenal as a squad player should the club fail to bring in Partey.

Who should Arsenal sign out of Aouar and Partey?

REISS NELSON

With Arsenal already having wingers Willian, Nicolas Pepe, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli to count on, Nelson could be allowed to leave on loan.

JOE WILLOCK

Just like Nelson, Willock could be available for loan as he has fallen down the pecking order under Arteta.

Willock featured in 43 games last season, highlighting how much he was thought of by Unai Emery and then Arteta.
