Euston chaos as all trains delayed due to trespasser on the tracks

TRAINS at London Euston station are delayed or cancelled following reports of trespass and a casualty near Watford Junction, British Transport police said.

Images on social show a sea of commuters on the main platform trying to get home after the work week.

Another image shows barriers across the entrance to stop people from entering the station.

British Transport Police tweeted: “Specialist BTP officers are responding to reports of trespass and a casualty close to #WatfordCentral station.

“This incident is currently effecting trains travelling in and out of #Euston – please check with @nationalrailenq for travel updates.”

All main lines are currently blocked between London Euston and Watford Junction.

The London Underground Bakerloo line is also suspended between Queens Park and Harrow & Weadlstone until further notice.

London Overground trains are all not running between London Euston and Kilburn High Road, and trains will not stop at Wembley Central.

A spokesperson for Network Rail confirmed delays has been caused by trespassers and expect disruption to last until 7pm tonight.

The Sun Online has contacted the British Transport Police for comment.

Every train due to leave from Euston between now and 7pm has either been delayed or cancelled except for three to Watford Junction that still says it is on time.

Virgin Trains customers are able to use their tickets on LNER trains between Kings Cross and Edinburgh, London Notrthwestern Railway between Euston and Birmingham New Street/Crewe and on Chiltern Railways between Marylebone and Birmingham New Street.

“Please follow your train operator for train service information or @nationalrailenq

“We will at busy times and need to close the station for short periods of time for congestion controls
