EVERTON could reportedly hire a former Arsenal and Barcelona chief to transform the club.
Raul Sanllehi, 56, previously worked as director of football at the Nou Camp before going on to be head of football with the Gunners.

He spent three years at the Emirates and was part of their attempt to rebuild the North London club after Arsene Wenger’s departure.
But Sanllehi hit the headlines back in September when he said Arsenal made a “mistake” in allowing Mikel Arteta to have the same amount of responsibilities as the legendary Frenchman.
He said: “I do not agree when clubs call the first-team coach ‘the manager’.
“First-team coach is first-team coach, that is enough. Nowadays, the workload is overwhelming, and I need him to concentrate on the first team.
“They have betrayed the model a little bit now. By going back to the manager at the top, that is a mistake, but that is their mistake.
“I would have not allowed that to happen. But that’s fine, it is working so far for them.”
Sanllehi left Arsenal in 2020 and returned to Spain where he is currently director general for LaLiga side Real Zaragoza.
Now the Daily Mail claims that “Sanllehi has admirers on Merseyside” but it still seems uncertain whether he would move to Everton should he be offered a role.
The Toffees are desperately looking for a revamp both on and off the pitch at the club after successive seasons of struggle.
Sean Dyche managed to steer them to safety after replacing Frank Lampard as manager in January.
Everton recently had a major backroom shake-up following their turbulent Premier League season.
The Toffees announced CEO Denise Barrett-Baxendale, Chief Finance and Strategy Officer Grant Ingles and Non-Executive Director Graeme Sharp have left their roles.
The outgoing directors have been working with majority owner Farhad Moshiri as well as chairman Bill Kenwright in recent months to assist help set up a transition team.
