Everton flop Moise Kean joins PSG on loan transfer after scoring just two Premier League goals in a season for Toffees

EVERTON flop Moise Kean has joined Paris Saint-Germain on loan after scoring just two Premier League goals for the club.

The Italian forward, 20, has struggled for form at Goodison Park since move to England last summer.

Moise Kean has joined PSG on a season-long loan from Everton

But Kean will now spend the rest of the season with the Champions League runners-up, replacing Edinson Cavani and Eric-Maxim Choupo Moting, who both left on free transfers this summer.

Carlo Ancelotti was reluctant to let Kean leave, but said he wouldn’t stand in his countryman’s way if he wanted to leave.

Kean has found the net twice this season in the Carabao Cup – against Salford and Fleetwood.

But the forward has found himself out of the first team in the Premier League, with red-hot Dominic Calvert-Lewin leading the line.

The deal to take Kean to Ligue 1 champions PSG does not include the option for a permanent move.

Kean will likely find first-team action hard to come by in the French capital.

The Italian will battle the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Mauro Icardi and Neymar for first-team minutes.

However, if Kean can recapture his Juventus form, he could be a crucial rotation player with PSG set to fight on multiple fronts this season in a congested schedule.

Kean has played just 13 minutes of Premier League action for Everton so far in 2020-21 – with the Toffees winning all four of their matches to sit top of the league.

The striker only joined on a five-year deal last summer, but struggled to make an impact from the get-go.

Kean’s most infamous moment came after being ‘humiliated’ by then-boss Duncan Ferguson in December 2019.

During the game against Manchester United, Kean came off the bench, before being hooked just 18 minutes later.
