Everton in talks to sign PSG outcast Hugo Ekitike with striker among 14 ‘undesirables’ training in ‘bomb squad’

EVERTON are reportedly in talks to sign PSG outcast Hugo Ekitike, but he won’t be cheap.

The Toffees are in search of some new additions as they try to avoid another relegation scrap, with Ekitike said to be on their list.

Everton are in talks to sign Hugo Ekitike fro PSG

Ekitike is currently training alongside PSG’s ‘undesirables’

According to Fabrizio Romano, Everton are already in talks with the Parisians over a potential loan move with an obligation to buy.

But PSG are said to be demanding over £30million for their forward who they only signed last summer.

Reports suggest the 21-year old is being watched by a number of other clubs, but Everton are pushing for a deal.

Ekitike was heavily linked with a move to Newcastle before he made the switch to PSG, but it’s not known if they will come back in for him.

He made 25 league appearances last term, but only managed to register three goals and four assists.

Despite only making the switch from Reims to PSG last summer, the Frenchman has found himself exiled by new boss Luis Enrique.

He is training amongst a group of players who have been nicknamed ‘The Undesirables’ away from the first team squad.

The group features big names such as Kylian Mbappe and Geroginio Wijnaldum and they have also been called ‘The Loft’.

‘The Loft’ is a French term for ‘Bomb Squad’ which in this case is a large group of players who are training with each other whilst they wait for a move away from the club or another chance with the first team.

Kylian Mbappe is perhaps the most notable name in the group of outcasts and according to Sky Sports Kaveh Solhekol, the World Cup Winner is convinced ‘The Loft’ could beat the first 11.

The group of banished players consists of: Kylian Mbappe, Hugo Ekitike, Colin Dagba, Julien Draxler, Georginio Wijnaldum, Abdou Diallo, Leandro Parades, Arnau Tenas, Timothee Pembele, Eduoard Michut, Mountanabi Bodiang, Kenny Nagera, Djeidi Gassama and Nehemiah Fernandez-Veliz.
