THOMAS TUCHEL would be open to taking the England manager’s job, according to reports.
The German was suddenly sacked by Chelsea’s new owners in September and replaced by Graham Potter.

But after a month out of the game, Bild in Germany report Tuchel would consider the Three Lions gig if it became available at some stage in the future after the World Cup.
Gareth Southgate is under the biggest pressure he has faced in his six years as head coach of the national team.
England are winless in six matches going into next month’s winter tournament.
And there is some suggestion Southgate could walk away from the job after Qatar 2022, regardless of how far his side go – although his contract runs until December 2024.
Tuchel’s successor Potter remains the favourite to be the next England manager, despite just signing a £50million, five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
Eddie Howe, Mauricio Pochettino and Steve Cooper are also among the likeliest candidates.
Like Tuchel, Poch is a free agent because he remains currently out of work since leaving PSG.
Tuchel, though, could be a more suitable candidate considering his record in knockout competitions.
The 49-year-old won the DFB-Pokal with Dortmund, the Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue at PSG then the Champions League and Club World Cup as Chelsea boss.
He also has runner-up medals from five further major finals.
Tuchel – who reportedly rejected an offer to take over at Bayer Leverkusen – said of his Blues exit: “This is one of the most difficult statements I have ever had to write – and it is one which I hoped I would not need to do for many years.
“I am devastated that my time at Chelsea has come to an end.
