Ex-Man Utd keeper Sergio Romero set to become a dad for fourth time as pregnant wife shows off baby bump

MANCHESTER UNITED hero Sergio Romero is set to ease the heartbreak of his Old Trafford exit – by becoming a dad for the fourth time.

The Argentine keeper played a major role in United’s Europa League triumph in 2017.

Romero spent six years as a player at Manchester United

Romero, 34, made 61 Manchester United appearances in six seasons – keeping 39 clean sheets.

But he was released during the summer, and joined Italian club Venezia in October.

The newly-promoted Venice outfit are struggling in Serie A, just two places above the drop zone.

But Romero’s wife Eliana Guercio is poised to bring fresh joy to the keeper by presenting him with a baby son.

Eliana, 44, and Romero wed in 2008 and have three daughters together.

The Argentine artist posted a picture on Instagram of herself, sporting a pronounced baby bump, next to a smiling Romero.

She captioned it “Ours,” adding blue heart emojis – hinting they are expecting a boy.

Eliana describes herself on the site as “Mum to three beautiful princesses – Jazmin, Chloe, Meghan.”

Romero won 96 Argentina caps between 2009 and 2018.

A free signing from Sampdoria, he just made seven Premier League appearances for United as David De Gea’s understudy.

But he played 12 times as Jose Mourinho’s side lifted the Europa League crown four years ago – keeping a clean sheet in the 2-0 final win over Ajax.

And Eliana previously slammed Manchester United for their treatment of her hubby while he was at the club.

She wrote last year after he was denied a transfer: “Sergio Romero worked hard for his club. Last trophy they won, they lifted it with him.

“He helped the team reach four finals/semi-finals and then he was on the bench, only to lose them all.

“It is time for them to return the opportunity and let him go.

“RESPECT FOR ONCE!!!!”
