ROMELU LUKAKU blasted ‘f*** you and your hashtags’ as he furiously demanded action from authorities after Vincent Kompany was racially abused.
And the Chelsea striker is demanding action from the Belgian league following the latest vile attack.
He believes the Pro League’s passive response to racism – tweets and a #saynotoracism hashtag – is a key reason why it remains a problem in Belgian football.
Addressing the league on Instagram, Lukaku said: “I hope you take action now.
“For an icon like Vincent Kompany to be scolded for his skin colour… Enough is enough!
“F*** you with your hashtags, take real action now.”
Sadly, Lukaku knows all too well the abhorrent reality of racism – suffering disgusting abuse during his time in Italy at Inter Milan.
Anderlecht boss Kompany revealed he and his players were targeted during Sunday’s 2-2 draw.
The Manchester City legend and Lukaku’s former Belgium national team pal said: “My staff and players have been verbally abused throughout the game.
“We heard brown monkey and whatever. We are here with a lot of people who have given a lot for this country, and who just come to play football.
“So for me, the game is unimportant now. Anyway, I’m going home dismayed and disappointed.”
In a statement after the game, Club Brugge said: “The club, it’s supporters, staff, players, employees and board strongly condemn any form of racism.
“These individuals are not representative of the values and norms of our club.”
The Belgian Pro League, however, are yet to take any formal action, releasing a weak statement and urging Brugge to identify and ban the guilty culprits.
It said: “Racism and discrimination have no place in society and in or around our stadiums. We can’t be clear enough about that.”
On the same day as Club Brugge supporters abused Anderlecht, there were various anti-Semitic and homophobic chants heard around grounds in Belgium.
That follows Brugge striker Nao Lang being filmed singing anti-Semitic songs during celebrations earlier this year.
