Fans say ‘this is the definition of aura’ as Chelsea star Levi Colwill holds the ball for 30 SECONDS in England U21 game

FANS have been left stunned after Chelsea star Levi Colwill held the ball for 30 seconds for the England Under-21s.

The Young Lions sealed a spot in the Euros final after they beat Israel 3-0 last night.

Colwill was not being pressed by Israel

England broke down a stubborn defence with goals from Morgan Gibbs-White, Cole Palmer and Cameron Archer.

Israel sat deep for most of the game and 44 minutes in with the score 1-0, Colwill showed his confidence.

The centre-back was not being pressed so he decided to stand and walk with the ball as he waited for a challenge.

Colwill calmly stood in possession for 30 seconds before passing to James Garner due to Oscar Gloukh hurrying him.

Fans hailed the 20-year-old, who spent last season impressing on loan at Brighton.

One said: “Now this is the definition of ‘aura’ from Colwill.”

A second reacted: “He is going to be elite.”

Others were less impressed, saying: “No ones pressing him mate.”

Another added: “Aura? Because opposition is staying in their own half?”

England’s Under-21s will meet Spain in the final and they have not conceded a goal in any of their five games en route to Saturday’s clash.

Brighton are interested in keeping Colwill at the club and have bid £30million.

However, the Blues are determined to keep him and have offered the defender an improved contract despite their being two years left on his current deal.

Colwill supposedly wants to speak to new Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino to get an idea of his future role.
