Fiorentina ‘accept Arsenal’s £88m Dusan Vlahovic transfer bid but striker has already agreed to join Juventus’

ARSENAL have reportedly had an £88million bid accepted for Fiorentina hitman Dusan Vlahovic.

The only problem is the 21-year-old has already agreed to join Juventus.

Arsenal target Vlahovic has already agreed to join Juventus, reports suggest

Vlahovic is out of contract in 2023, and agreed to join Juve upon the expiry of his deal, according to Italian outlet Ok Calciomercato.

It comes as a blow to Fiorentina, who would lose out on a hefty transfer fee for their star striker.

Vlahovic is even reported to have agreed a ‘penalty’ fare with Juventus in case the deal is cancelled.

Therefore it’s claimed that the stand-off is causing a ‘delicate situation’ for his current club Fiorentina.

Should Vlahovic stubbornly see out his contract and leave for free, club owner Rocco Commisso would want him benched for the ENTIRE of next season.

That would see substitute striker Krzysztof Piatek promoted in his place.

But Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano is unwilling to field his second choice striker, which could lead to a major bust-up at the club.

It’s previously been reported that Vlahovic agreed to join Juventus three months ago, with Juve the ‘only club he wants to join’.

The news comes as a blow to Arsenal as their uncertain striker situation has seen the Gunners strongly linked with Vlahovic this window.

The North Londonders reportedly offered £50million plus Lucas Torreira for the Serbia striker earlier this week.

But latest reports indicate they were also willing to pay a straight £88million for Vlahovic’s services.

However Vlahovic’s personal agreement with Juventus has scuppered plans, and could potentially lead to an in-house war at Fiorentina should the 21-year-old fail to agree to be sold on.

Vlahovic equalled Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of 33 Serie A goals in a calendar year in 2021, and has attracted attention from a host of top clubs.
