Former Man Utd star Dan James makes celebration vow in case he scores for Leeds against old side in huge clash

LEEDS striker Daniel James has made it clear that he will have no problem with celebrating if he scores against Manchester United on Sunday.

The 24-year-old joined the Whites from the Red Devils in August last year.

James is set to celebrate if he scores for Leeds against Man Utd on Sunday

He has since registered four goals and two assists in 24 appearances for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Despite having spent two years at Man Utd, James will not hold back in his celebrations if he were to score at Elland Road this weekend.

He told The Times: “Will I celebrate if I score? Of course I do.

“I have no hatred towards Man United, I left on good terms.

“I still have a lot of friends there. It’s a great feeling to score a goal, so of course I’ll celebrate.”

Bielsa has put a lot faith in James so far this season with Patrick Bamford’s absence.

But, he recently criticised the attacker for his lack of consistency.

In Friday’s press conference he said: “Like the team, he has had some good moments and some not so good.

“There was three games moreover than the results where the team showed a good level and in the last game that level dropped.”

Leeds currently sit 15th in the Premier League table, just six points above 18th-placed Norwich City.

Last weekend they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Everton after a below-par performance.
